On behalf of TACEM 2019 Organizing Committee, together with Emergency Medicine Association of Tanzania (EMAT), it is our greatest honor to welcome you to the 3rd Tanzanian Conference on Emergency Medicine (TACEM), that will be held on 1st - 3rd October 2019 in Dar es salaam.
Medical emergencies are a very real everyday occurrence. They often cost lives and invariably use up significant resources. They are not confined to location , timing or status. Emergency Medicine bridges this gap by safely delivering the patients from the community to definitive area of treatment after resuscitation and stabilization.
TACEM 2019's theme, "Increasing access to emergency care in Tanzania: The Regionalization Agenda," will provide plenary sessions, lectures, parallel sessions, exhibition, pre-conference training and social events. The knowledge and skills shared are vital in the spread of emergency care and with the theme in line the aim is to revolutionize emergency care all over Tanzania.
The conference will be based in the coastal city of Dar es salaam, one of the fastest growing cities in the world offering great varieties in culture and cuisines with its friendly community. Feel free to choose any of the trips and experience the beauty of nature in Magoroto Forest, wild life at Selous Game Reserve and beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. Pack a thrill for a hike, some hiking shoes or not but the view from the top is priceless and runs down with a cool coconut drink. Waterfalls are another day's trip, all you need is a kids heart for a sense of adventure.
